The 8th grade Summit Team is an interdisciplinary team consisting of Drew Withers (Math), Ben Light (Science), Renee Stickles (Reading), and David Blommendahl (Social Studies). The Summit Team is committed to preparing students for the summit of academic and personal achievement in high school.

This is the fourth year of the BEARS team, which stands for Becoming Educated and Responsible Students. The BEARS team consists of Roy Gerig (Science), Xiomara Gundersen (Math), David Blommendahl (Social Studies), and Jason Jones (Reading).

The SEAL Team curriculum focuses on helping students meet the rigorous requirements for the eighth grade and beyond. Through a journey of exploration and discovery, SEAL Team Members will experience a wide range of exciting educational opportunities. The Seal Team educators include Amanda Sasaki (Langauge Arts), Marilyn Harlow (Math), Ricardo Laerios (Social Studies), and Dr. Ruby Sue Whittley (Science).

The 6th Grade Tigers Team

The Tigers Team is a group of 6th grade teachers who work together to ensure the success of the approximately 100 students in their team. The Tigers team consists of Sarah Forbes (Science), Rachel Kriens (Math), Jana Avison (LA/SS Block), and Thad Conwell (LA/SS Block). Jorge Figueroa is the bilingual instructional assistant assigned to the Tigers Team, and Pat Curran is the counselor.
